Doris is an experienced corporate finance, bank regulatory and general commercial lawyer, qualified in England and Wales as well as in Hong Kong. She has worked in both private practice and public sector.
She started her professional career as a transaction and corporate finance lawyer. She worked in international law firms advising on a wide range of complex transactions including equity capital market (ECM) deals, initial public offerings (IPOs), private fundraising, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, private equity investments, joint ventures and other cross-border transactions in various industries.
Consecutively, she became a senior counsel at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority for eight years, with expertise in bank crisis management, resolution, prudential regulations and general commercial law.
She has in-depth knowledge about financial services sector and extensive experience in preparing and negotiating transaction related documentation, commercial contracts and corporate governance documents, such as subscription agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, side letters, private placement memoranda, convertible bonds, consultancy or service agreements, technology outsourcing contracts and trust deeds.
Doris is keen on providing professional and quality services to clients, whether they are international or local, public or private, well-established, SMEs, startups or entrepreneurs.
