Jessica Chiew

Jessica is an experienced corporate and commercial solicitor, qualified in New Zealand. She has worked both in private practice and in-house as General Counsel, and has many years of experience providing clear and pragmatic advice to her clients.

Key specialisms include

corporate law – drafting and advising on various corporate law matters including acquisitions, disposals, corporate structuring, new company formations, shareholder agreements and director’s responsibilities.

corporate finance – drafting and advising on fundraising projects, including debt and equity fundraising, loan security, convertible instruments and subscription documents.

commercial law – drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts including services agreements, non disclosure agreements, terms and conditions and overall management of legal risk.

general counsel – drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of company contracts and documents and assessing and advising on potential risks and exposures.
